The kitchen is the most important room when it comes to hygiene but people never remember the coffee machine. They collect a surprising amount of bacteria on the inside and if you aren’t cleaning it properly, you’re drinking that down every single day. Most people make the mistake of just cleaning the filter and leaving the rest but if you really want to stay healthy, you need to take it apart and clean it regularly.
Reusable shopping bags are great for the environment but they’re not great for cleanliness. Most of us use them and then put them in the cupboard ready for next time. But they’re picking up more bacteria every time you use them and that’s getting on your food. You need to treat it like a piece of clothing and wash it regularly.
