2019's Biggest Home Decor Trends

If you have been thinking of giving your home a bit of a spruce up, your mind might have already turned to the various ways you can redesign and redecorate. Whenever any of us start to think about redesigning our home, I’m sure that the majority start to consider what’s fashionable in the world of interior designs right now - what exactly are the biggest trends at the minute? Well, thankfully, decor trends tend to stick around for some time once they arrive, so it’s worth looking at the trends that are set for the rest of the year and using these in your rooms. At least then you can have peace of mind knowing that your decorating won’t become outdated too quickly!

To help you get started with your whole redesign, here are some of 2019’s biggest decor trends.

Oak Furniture

Vintage interior designs have been extremely popular for quite some time now, and this looks set to last well into next year. If you want to turn your home into a vintage haven, there is no better way to do this than by adding plenty of painted oak furniture. The benefit of going with painted oak is that you will be able to find the ideal colour or tone that suits the rest of your room. Plus, painting wooden furniture is a great way to distress it so that it looks a lot more vintage than what it actually is.

Florals

Whether you are going for a vintage or modern decor, florals will never look out of place, especially in this year as they are currently one of the biggest interior trends at the minute! You’ll be able to find lots of wallpaper, rugs, cushions, and other fabric pieces that can be added to your rooms to add fantastic bursts of colour.

Sustainable Pieces

These days, everyone seems to be interested in things that can help the future of the environment and planet. Did you know that there is plenty that can be done in interior design? For instance, when you are buying new furniture or other decor pieces, you should look for ones that have been made using sustainable materials and methods. If an item could have potentially left behind a large carbon footprint while it was being made, don’t bring it into your home.

Black And White

One of the biggest decisions that most homeowners face when redecorating is which colours to go with for their room. Well, that choice could be a very easy one to make this year, as the two big colours set to take over interior design in 2019 are black and white. As these two colours go with almost any other colour and design, you should have no problem using them in your home. You’ll find that this colour set can instantly turn a room very chic indeed!

As you can see, there are lots of trends set to be a big hit over the next twelve months. Which ones will you go with?
